Dr. Dave's Herbal Medicine, LLC was founded by David Teitler, L. Ac. As an acupuncturist and herbalist, his practice focuses on the treatment of respiratory disorders. While treating disorders such as sinusitis and allergies, David noticed a pattern. Most of his patients presented with a diagnosis of External Wind-Heat (Chinese Medicine lingo for a cold) with internal dryness. He usually gave similar herbal remedies to these patients. Because of this, he began making herbal tinctures of these remedies to see how they would work in prepared form. They worked well, if not better, than the traditional method of boiling the herbs. Patients and other practitioners began requesting the remedies, and Dr. Dave's Herbal Medicine came to be. |
